Wow. I'd *never* heard of Ann Peebles until right now, and I know a fair amount of music across genres and time periods. I always thought "Peebles" on songwriting credit was Mario van Peebles! I'm embarrassed not to have known but more important: I'm hooked now! I grew up with T Turner's version, still love it (despite cheesy production) but THIS...just speechless. Thank you so much for posting it. And thanks conniejoy529 for mentioning Ann Peebles on a youtube posting of TTurner's version.
