I have one and sadly i don't play it enough. I will say it has a narrow neck which suits my little nimble fingers lol...:)It is better compared to the Jap fretted. However! (Contradiction here)My favourite Bass is the Fender Squire (Fretted), Wide with a nearly flat back... :)

well it has a really thin neckbut its still pretty sturdyi've put Seymour Duncan Quaterpound for Jazz bass in it and got it Set Up, it plays real nicei would recomend as a pro do up, the electronics are/where subpar... the its an Active Passive, the passive is not as good as alot of the actives i've played... the high end doesnt come out as nice... but the low end on the active is nicei use that for Jazz with my treble pickups...in all, nice bass

how does that jag play compared to a jazz? cause i always see those and they always look nice

by out sold, i believe boothfenn means, more fender guitars are sold than ibanez and spector, and i'm 6'5" and i play a Fender Jaguar Bass, it has a C thiner than the Jazz, and it is the most comfortable neck i've played.so it is ALL about personal preferance

well if you way cost in to the equation of course fender out sold them, that doesn't make them any better and it's all personal preference i personally play an ICB200 and i think its amazing, fender just simply doesn't tickle my fancy, also i do a lot of solo bass playing and i'm very large in stature (6' 3") so fender neck size (for my hands) doesn't do it for me either. but you know thats just my opinion.

so fender have outsold ibanez and spector by a thousand to one by accident?ive owned a fender jazz since 1980..ive had steinbergers, status, warwick, and ibanez ,sold them all still got the jazz, cant walk past it without picking it up...

beautiful condition, but i have to dissagree with him saying "fenders make the best bass" if you're going for jazz or soft/ classic rock than yes he's right but i have to say the most versitile bass' are either ibanez or spector.
