I am a teacher who has their students creating blogs, using message boards, collaborating with other classrooms around the country/world, and has considered how I might use texting to inform my teaching. Yet, a STRONG point must be made about the role of the teacher. only human beings are capable of identifying a student's misconception, then providing the right information or right question to help that student reach accurate ideas. Simply reading or seeing does not equal accurate learning.
