when first heard this i thought the same thing. it is americans like him and you that will make this country great again if we can come together. as MLK said in his i have dream speech this country as yet to live up to it's creed. it is people like barack and those who voted for him that will help make MLK's words that day come true. barack will give america higher approval rating here and aboard.go obama.

Watching this speech in July 2004, I remember thinking that this man might be the first black president someday. Little did I imagine it would be only 4 years later!Go Barack Obama!!!

When I first heard this speech in 2004, I was taken by surprise. Never in my wildest dreams had I expected any politician to speak with such a degree of incisive honesty, clarity and sincerity. Many friends had told me about him. I dismissed their passion as wishful thinking hoping for a political Messiah. After hearing this speech and wiping the tears from my eyes, I remember saying: "God! I hope this man runs for President some day!" Little did I know how soon this wish would come to pass.
