Huckabee is a great speaker, a good sense of humor,and very quick with answers..He is experienced and would have been a great candidate..however, I think that any Republican incumbent would have lost this election regardless. Obama won because the timing was right. Period.

I'm not impressed of the fact that Huckabee is a baptist preacher, but that probably taught him how to speak so elequently along with a sense of humor. However I did love his "TAX" idea, and that is to eliminate all taxes and just hike up the sales tax so that everyone pays, even the pimps, ho's and crackheads. I would've voted for him on that one issue alone.

Mike Huckabee is too extreme. Even his own party recognized that! If religious extremists run for the republicans, rest assured the democrats will always win. Now, the democrats are in the driver's seat. The only thing that can take them out of control is if they fail to deliver on the agenda they ran and won on! Obama and the democrats are too smart to let that happen. The democrats will rule for a long time to come!

I'm a pretty liberal Democrat but Huck's speech was awesome. I got a chill down my back when he delivered the line "Im a Republican because I didn't want to spend the rest of my life poor waiting for the government to save me". His story about the veterans and the school desks was also very touching.
