I was in Derry in August and visited both the Apprentice Boys Hall and the Free Derry artists studio and the Bogside. There's a lot more realism and desire for a settlement of the past and a peaceful future in the Bogside than there is in the blinders-wearing Hall, trotting the colors out year after year and crying over the detritus of a lost empire. Time and numbers are not on your side, dear England. Leave now, with some class, not later kicking and screaming.

My grandparents were from Enniskillen,Dromore,west Belfast and east Belfast.Youd be suprised were your ancestors came from if you searched hard enough.Adams and Hume are lowland Scots names.You could be descended from one of Oliver Cromwells soldiers who settled in Ireland lol

Your an Irishman? Where were did your parents and their parents come from? I was born in Belfast and the first generation of our family to come to this country. 100% Irish means just that. 100% Irish bloodline for at least the last 1,436 years in my case. And Catholic as well.I don't know why the land was taken from the Indians. Ask the english and the spanish... the thieving bastards. fucking pilgrims. "Get out off USA"? Take a spelling class. Because we didn't take this country from the Indians the way that our homes, land and businesses were stolen (By the english! Coincidence?. Guess you're not 100% Irish. You'd know that we could have been killed for stealing a loaf of bread while the english (with a small "e") exported all of our food. Potato famine? No. The english later admitted "Slight Negligence in the matter". When the queen of england gives us back our land I'll get out of America.
