sorry but as said: 214 g is immediatly death even HANS wound not protect you. 214 g means is your head has arround 5 kg ( which would be less) now has a weight more than a ton (1000 kg)so.... i think you could imagine what would happen

Really 214G? Where did you got this info? If so, it's a new record. The biggest impact I have read of was David Purley's on a practice for the British GP (calculated at 184G, if I am not wrong) back in the 70s.

thats amazing indead, he must have a thick skull(litteraly). I wouldv thought 200g+ was good enough to just pop someone's head. As for his neck, the HANS system is amazing indeed, it saved a couple of necks in f1 already too.

They measured 214G indeed! And if i look at all the spinning and the impact, that is highly possible. It shows, just how good the HANS system is, in absorbing extreme energies and protect the neck. Without the HANS System he would probably have died in this accident.So yeah. 214G is the truth. Unbelievable but true.

Normally, no, if they put out a red flag close to the end of a race, they clean up the accident site, then restart. In this case, there was so much damage to the fence to be repaired, they put the red flag out with five laps to go, and decided not to keep going.
