Have you ever read a book written in Spanish? I don't think so, don't talk about our education system as if you were an expert. At least I 'm able to read a book in English.

But we had other option? Where are the islands situated? In your territory or in mine? Before 1833 they were under argentine control. I remember you that in that time your country attacked all the countries which didnt satisfied the british interests. What is more, the UK tried to invade my country two times! So dont play victim saying that "we invade the MALVINAS islands", because we cant invade a place that territorially belong to us.

The Argentine military dicatorship ordered an invasion of British territory and as such that is an act of war against the UK.The islanders have the right of self determination and they choose to remain British. When you understand the true history and not the distortions taught in the Argentine education system then you should open your mind to the fact that they are the Falkland Islands and they will remain British so long as the islanders widh to remain so.

The Convention of Settlement ended Argentinas protests over the Falklands. After the Message to Congress in December 1849, the Falklands were not mentioned again in the Messages to Congress for 91 years to 1941The effect of the Convention of Settlement was mentioned by a member of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies, Absalón Rojas, in a major debate on 19 July 1950 on Argentinas claim to the Falklands. Rojas blamed General Rosas for the loss of the Falklands to Britain. Are you taught that?

HMS Clio asked Pinedo and the Sarandi to leave along with a Marine detachment, the settlers were encouraged to stay and did. With British settlers Brisbane and Dickson both original settlers being appointed governors. You are taught Argentine settlers were expelled which is a lie.The Convention of Settlement was signed on 24 November 1849 and ratified by both countries in Buenos Aires on 15 May 1850. It ended all disputes between the two countries so Argentina accepted British sovereignty.

You are not taught the true history only a biased account at best and some blatant lies at worst. The British were the first to make a recorded landing in 1690 and from that declare de jure sovereignty. The agreements with Spain were only that we both tolerated the others presence but neither accepted the others claim.Vernets settlement from the 1828 expedition was with British permission and the British considered it a British settlement. Vernet reported to the British consulate in BA.
