And we, the people of the United States, elected this moron for 8 years, that is an insult to human beings, 2 consecutive elections, once with a noble prize winner and the other one with a war hero, i mean, give me a fucking break. If you voted for Bush, dont complain, because fucking one thing once is bad, but a second time? Its nothing close to being an inept thinking person.America wanted someone who we could have a beer with, well he threw that beer in your face and didnt do shit.

Why do people throw the fact he is liberal in his face? So what? He knows it, you know it, we all know it. To come here and be annoyed at it is idiotic.

By legally redefining torture, essentially politicising the justice system in the US.

As the highest official in the USA it is unpardonable to claim that Bush, our President and Chief, could know about something that heinous and do nothing about it. When we the people found out the truth we did something. We got ourselves a new president. The actions of those men do not protect us: they endanger us because the rights that are denied to one can be denied to many. "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."

Ever heard of innocent until proven guilty? Until you let those people actually try their cases in a court they are innocent people. And several deteinees have been released without being sentenced, which would mean that they're also innocent. And it doesn't really mean anything either. Torture is just as illegal towards criminals as it is to innocents.

Um...THE PRESIDENT ISN'T DOING IT! He doesn't support it, he just knows about. You know about it, but are you supportive of it? And I do not blidly follow this country. Again, I just don't think that Lunymann has any right to slam the crime-fighters that are protecting HIM. And, again, you cannot say I don't love this country. I have questioned what this country is doing, but Olby is comparing us to people who torture innocents. Do we torture innocents? Nope.
cjahlers10 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
Yes Claiming that torture is wrong and those who participate in it should be brought to justice does not make one a egotistic, partisan, buffoon. Not believing the facts means that. So Olbermann is a democrat. The great thing about America is that we can be republican or democratic or socialist or green party or whatever. This might be hard for someone like you to get but we are allowed to disagree with the public opinion especially when all the facts back us up. |
