It's somewhat disingenuous, not to mention somewhat offensive, to align Scotland and Ireland in terms of "Freedom"... I'm Scottish, and am as free as the day is long. We have our own Parliament, Gaelic has official recognition (a language which is NOT common to Scotland as a whole, don't forget..), we are not in any way whatsoever "oppressed" - we have little more in the way of freedom to gain, save for full independence, which we will have if the majority of voters wish it, democratically.
