This speech is pretty much unknown to most people on this planet and it's a shame.People think MLK and they think civic rights and "I have a dream" speech immediately. Was Beyond Vietnam censored or what????

The Pentagon currently owns or rents 702 overseas bases in about 130 countries and HAS another 6,000 bases in the United States and its territories. Why? This military empire jeopardizes our safety and freedom and has nothing to do with defending America.

IF MLK were alive, would he support Barack? Would he support Reverend Wright? Would he support Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente? Would he work outside the framework of the Democrats and Republicans? Until we have listened to the full versions of all of his speeches and read his books and his various biographies, we can't really say we know or understand Dr. King. He is certainly broader and deeper than the I Have A Dream Icon that pop culture and the mainstream media have portayed him.

As I hear this speech, nothing has really changed in America. Yea we now have a Black President, but even he wants more war in Afghanistan. Dr. King would be against this!!!

I study War as two things.* How to engage in it if I should be forced in it.* How to avoid the paths that lead to it.As a principle, does that make me wrong?
