I just saw NIN live a little over a week ago. People went fucking nuts when he played this song. The video isn't the idea that Trent is drunk. It's the whole "rockstar" thing, which Trent is kind of the anti rockstar. That's why the mic is being replaced each time Trent throws it down, the touch up the girl does on him. It's all a play on the rockstar stuff.
