I think this beats Flyboys. I'd rather fly in a biplane of WWI than a hornet today. Planes back then go like 90MPH, today they go so fast I won't notice the mountain! Could he seriously down a zep with a handgun?!

inflammable means extremely flammable. un-flammable would mean unable to burn

screw what the folks at IMDB say! i'll still see this. The footage looks great. WWI air combat has been sadly neglected in recent movies in lieu of space ships and jets but they did some incredible flyign back then.BTW check out my tribute vid to WWI airmen.

is NOT inflammable, my bad, left that out. Most all WWI zepplins and ballons were filled with hydrogen, which is very flammable (inflammable means the same thing), now helium is used as it will not burn.

Hydrogen burns like hell, helium is inflammable.

I think the general consensus among historians is that Von Richthoffen (the Red Baron) was shot down over Australian lines by Aussie machine gunner Sergeant Cedrick Popkins with a Vickers MG. He was buried by officers of 3 Squadron Australian Flying Corps (AFC) with honours in France. |
