You know the play that the league has should get intense. I would love to be the team that wins the first championship of the Obama administration. I would go after the ball like it is the last piece of steak in the universe. There should be no weak play at all.

that last speech from Michael Jordon is the difference between Kobe Bryant and Jordon.

lo are they playing on the road??
porkisgood4u (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
yeah, I remembered once the fox sports commentator saying... "here comes the Beatles of basketball" because everyone was screaming at the arena. even when the bulls played away from home.
dv122 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
and ur right those days were different. i watched every game of jordans second comeback and the atmosphere on the road was always more electric then when they played at home. whenever jordan was at the free throw line the whole floor would light up from camera flashes. u could actually see the lights flickering off of jordans face. the crowds were amazing and electric when the bulls visited. that died down some in 97 and 98.
dv122 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
it had nothing to do with that. anyone who is a loyal fan would being booing. no true fan wants an opponent getting any records on their team. the crowd was filled with chicago fans and thats why it was like that. the chicago bulls with michael jordan transcended the game of basketball and drew people from all over. that team holds a single game record with over 60,000 ppl. everyone wanted to see pippen, jordan and rodman. no other team has ever reached their popularity. it was an amazing team

I remember that year, every game the Bulls played, it's like play-off zone. 72 wins & ONLY 10 loses. That 10 lost was the best play for those teams who beat the Bulls that year. that's means their ONLY best was the one, they lost to Bulls, can u imagine?
porkisgood4u (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
u see dude, those days are different, those people love basketball yet and they are loyal to their home team Bucks. when a team like Bulls made a 70 record wins, that's good basketball history, good basketball for everyone. so, they show their support for the love for it.
