Un video musical homenaje a Julius Erving, una leyenda del baloncesto. Musica de Whitney Houston. Se me salta la lagrimilla cada vez que lo veo.

he was a great shot blocker too. i think he made the best blocks i seen in a player. he would block a shot and make it look like he was swatting a fly. and he would make those blocks mostly when the game was on the line. i don't know why he never made more all defense teams. his steals and blocks always led to points.

Julius was a great all-around player not simply an aerial artist. And an even better person. He continues to be an important chapter in the evolution of basketball. His teams never missed the playoffs, he has 3 championship rings (2 -ABA, 1 NBA), 4 MVPS, 3 consecutively, one of only 5 players with 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 5,000 assists and MJ is not one of them. But the numbers don't tell the story. He was Captain Kirk, always boldly going to create and to win.

2:00 Magic Johnson called that the greatest basketball move he's ever seen with his own eyes.

I'm a magic johnson and thomas fan, but i salute and respect Dr. J, he is just not good but a master. Unfortunately his time is also time of Jabbar, majic, Bird (fuck), and Thomas time. I just wish that Dr. J and the sixers got the championship not Larry Bird and the celtics...

when i was 8 yrs old i found this video in my garage. i took it inside and watched it and thought it was amazing. my dad is 58 yrs old and Dr.J is his idol. i showed it to him when i was 8 because of that. my dad cried and everything cuz he was a legend and remembered way back when.

God, I can remember this video when the great Dr. J himself retired. His last game was a playoff game against the Milwaukee Bucks. I was so upset that I stayed home from school. I love Julius not just because of his skills, but he was the class of the NBA. Miss you Doc!!!
