judo is the only full contact martial art that i know of... wait a sec, judo is a sport!! if your gonna be in judo, u better get ready to get pumbled to the ground. you gotta be tough, and don't ever tell me taekwondo or any other martial art is better, cuz it's not. sorry.

Judo is a very hard martial art.with the years It gives so many satisfactions that u can't image... It teaches how to stay in this world too... Anyway my life was around Judo... No more unfortunatly :(If u start Judo seriously your life will change for ever... guaranted!!!

Some Taekwondo schools teach a mixture of grappling for self-defense and the vice-versa for Judo. Taekwondo will not fuck Judo sideways...a snap kick will barely hurt a Judoka after getting thrown around a lot (despite learning how to fall). However, certain kicks in Taekwondo (such as the axe kick) can screw over a person in general if it lands...but don't even count on the sidekick or roundhouse against a Judoka imo.
