They just don't make singers like this any more. You can hear the spirit in this great lady's voice. She did not get the praise she deserves. This is a true spiritual gem! A classic!

Can anyone out there post anymore of Big Maybelle's gospel? I'm looking for an album of hers called "the gospel soul of big Maybelle". "Do Lord" is one of the songs from this album. I can't believe I found this one. Something just told me to type in her name and there here it is. God bless whoever found and posted this one. This was an album I listened to as a child. I have been searching for it for years. I knew one day I'd find it.
