Seems spurious. Yes, we can be manipulated, and memory is dangerously subjective -no argument. But we don't really know that this was staged in some way, do we? What's the driving ideology behind it? That we're nothing more than thinking-pieces-of-meat? That radical-material-empiricism is the only valid way to navigate our (temporary) existence? In that vain, what difference does it make? Right or wrong, when ya die, you won't even know you existed. Why not just...fuck everyone else?
