What a great opening for a great film. It artistically captures the main character Craig's dilemma of detesting his own pathetic self and seeking a solution to his existential anxiety by desperately trying to be someone else, if only through puppets. Amazing puppeteering, BTW. Puppeteering is a greatly under-appreciated form of art.
