Lelouch did not take his dads code! for one, you lose your geass in the process, as a trade off geass/code. But lelouch uses his Geass several times in the last episodes AFTER his kills his father. And saying that he has both is plain egotistic and simple minded, I don't think the writers would do something so overdone.

I am of the mind that Lelouch and C.C. are all too human. Otherwise, why would C.C. pray for Lelouch? And Lelouch's father (Emperor Charles) needed C.C.'s Code in order to activate the Sword of Akasha - but his acquiring is the equivalent of a serpent biting his hand because he didn't act fast enough before Lelouch used his Geass on a very willing 'God'.

That makes me wonder, does she still want to die, or does she get to have sexy time in the haywagon with Lelouch for all eternity? Because that sounds like a decent trade-off IMO.

-------************Spoiler************-------The Code is the "power" that C.C/W.W have and they are able to give the Geass to other persons, that Code makes them immortal and they are not affected by the power of Geass.Lelouch's dad took W.W code, and then Lelouch took the code from his dad in the world of C.c when his mom and dad were punished there
