sounds like kind of a Dutch version of Le Pen. Only more polite than that Gallic beast. But still nonetheless operating on the same paranoia and xenophobia, I would say. I came across this academic demagogue unfortunately by inadvertently being exposed to his shameless distortion of Chinese history on a DVD movie of all places! His not very nuanced condescension on Asians was simply appalling!
