Very true mostly, Eric Morcambe was amazing, Morcambe and Wise is one of my all time favorite shows. Some comedy is still good in my opinion but yes much of the spark has gone!

No, it seems to be the title of this talkshow.

It's because he's already proven in his earlier life he's a fucking comedic genius and now he deserves to be respected.

i love comedy.it's all i grew up on, we never watched Eastenders or all that shit!In our house, sitting down to UKTV Gold and watching the 60's & 70's comedy is what we did!And for that i now have a great comedy mind, and im only 15.-Eric Morecambe is my all time hero.-John Cleese will always make me laugh whenever i watch fawlty towers.Comedy like this has long been gone, and it is about time it came back!

Good luck to you mate. John Cleese is now the most boring bastard on the planet. I speak as an Englishman and I am sick of seeing Cleese speaking of events 30-40yrs ago. If he was so funny why hasnt he come up with something else recently instead of writing pompous letters in LA & appearing on talk shows. Youve seen the best of him in Monty Python and Fawlty Towers. Maybe something to do with selling his training company for £50million. He doesnt give a shit and it shows
