Patti's voice and the lyric's were quite cool yet do realize that she's not playing the guitar. John Lydon was correct in calling the band "hippie shit". It was!!!

the reason you cant find the lyrics for this song online is that one of the most unique things about Patti Smith is that she improvises many of her lyrics on the spot in a stream of consciousness kind of style much like jazz musicians improvise on their instruments. I think it comes out of the Beat Poetry tradition. it make each of her concerts a singular experience.
