The camera is a Casio Exilim with a built in mic. The camera is no more than 6 feet away on a tripod aimed at about waist high. The basement wall is directly behind the camera and the Ampeg PortaFlex speaker is pointed at the camera. The cabinet is closer to the camera than i am. THIS bass has 2 strings tuned to A-D, I now offer a 3-string tuned to A-D-G but it also comes with an E string too. Bass Player Magazine critiqued it in the Jan 08 issue. They also made videos of the editor playing it.

the box bass is as loud as an acoustic-bass-guitar when unplugged. I put the pickup inside of the body to capture the warm tone.
