I saw Dan Fogelberg in concert way back in 1981 and I remember he said "well,hears the song that started the elevator going to the top" meaning of course the song that really got him noticed and then he hit the opening chords of this song and the crowd went crazy.Great concert ( got to see him only three times over the years)great artist.Hard to believe he's been gone almost a year.

thanks crystal but sometimes it's easier to turn around and walk away. too many things are at risk, like house, kids, dogs. we can't hang out at each others house unless we want a war. sometimes it's easier to keep warm and dry. but it was surely nice to be with each other for those few days. we decided maybe we should do a few days every couple years.

This vidoe sucks for the song, but song is an all time classic that is very beautiful and touches so many people.

i found my one and only true love from 22 years ago. we were together for 4 years. we still have those strong feelings for each other but we were too young back then (17-21) and couldn't handle our strong emotions. now she is married and so am i. she has a son and i 2 daughters. we don't love our other halves and still love each other just as strong now as back then and again don't know how too handle our new situation

i believe he died from some kind of cancer, not sure what kind though
