Actually, democrats usually carry the African American vote by at least 4 to 1 on a normal basis, and that is despite most of their social conservatism.You can argue that black people mostly voted for him because he was a black man. If that's the case - who cares? If your people were forced into slavery, and had to fight year after year to be equal, would you not vote your own race when he could become president?Get a life, get a clue, and rethink racism. Congrats to all African-Americans.

"Build a coalition that stretches through Red States and Blue States".Obama did just that, taking Virginia (1st time since 1964), North Carolina, Indiana, Ohio, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico.AND now even an electoral vote is coming out of Nebraska for Obama!!! (Nebraska gives out electoral votes proportionately).Republicans are being relegated to being a regional southern party as the West breaks for the Democrats.
