I saw this movie in TELUGU when it was released . I was fascinated by the MUSIC and the amazing quality of SINGERS . The story of the film is nothing special being a fairy tale . IT IS AN EVERGREEN FILM AS FAR AS SINGING AND MUSIC IS CONCERNED .

I saw this movie at the age of eight at the Lamington Cinema the main theatre of the release of Suvarna Sundari in Bombay in early fifties. Ever since I have been enamoured of this fairy tale. This song, Kuhoo Kuhoo Bole Koyalia was the only song I remembered since then. The pleasure I derived from watching this song on UTUBE can never be imagined. I felt that I had gone back to my childhood days. Thank you O uploader, and thank you UTUBE for making it possible.

Adi Narayana Rao is UNIQUE in the sense that he gave music in classical CARNATIC STYLE for Telugu and Tamil versions and Classical Hindusthani for HINDI Dubbed Version . HATS OFF TO HIM . It is unfortunate that we are unable to listen to other songs of this movie in all the three languages .

Jikki is also a telugu singer. Her real name is G.Krishnaveni & became popular with her telugu initials G.K. Before P.Susheela became famous in South, Jikki and P.Leela ruled the south indian music scene
