It's hard to sum this up Andee, but you did a good job. The best music is art & art isn't art unless it's interpretive & subjective. If everyone understood it the same way, it'd be instruction. I don't perceive Blowin' In The Wind to be asking God these questions. I believe Bob is asking mankind and the answers are out there somewhere. We need to search for them, maybe in the horizon maybe in our hearts. An artist presents what's in their heart & soul & leaves it to us to be touched uniquely.

a song is a song. the way you interpret something subjective by nature must be taken subjectively. as far as when God will intervene and take all wickedness out is in your bible... only the Father knows. But to think that this song means exactly that is wrong. Many times, the way us as the audience takes a song in is vastly diff. from how the artist him/herself feels about it. your heart is your heart, your soul is your soul. God bless everyone.

There is more to life than musik, as much as i love musik, i also listen to the words sung, and i look around me and see lots of hate, very little love, and bob had an upringing from the words written in the bible, it's alway's good to hear other oppinions.

Hmmm, i don't think he is saying that to be honest. quoting Bob Dylan here but he said once "Don't give me that dance that God is with us, or that god supports us. Lets get down to brass tacks"so yeah basically it annoys me when people try to tell others what someone is trying to say. it has a different meaning to everyone.
