I saw Phil and Friends in NYC this weekend, this kid comes out looking like a young Dylan, wearing a white hat, he blew my mind. The Dead ought to have him play with them, he brings a lot of young energy to a stage filled with with great musicians, awesome show.

This is beautiful. I saw Phil and Friends from the front row and was right in front of Jackie, and he's great. For a true deadhead, I really think that he is a good choice because his vocals are refreshingly clear in contrast to Phil's and he's an incredibly talented musician.

hands down one of the best songs ever written

How can there be so much hatred from dead fans? just let it be man. The music is still beautiful.

If you're not sure if Jackie Greene fits with Phil> See Phil and Friends, and see them fast. Nuff said

Jackie Greene is a good guitar player in his own right. He doesn't quite fit the mold of the dead as some of you have put it but I don't think it is horrible. i saw phil and friends in MD a few weeks ago and found it very enjoyable. |
