It's so important. I think about what happened to the two Lavert brothers and they were very young.

I don't fully agree with her comment, but she does make a good point. Sometimes people can feel overwhelemed with which healthy choice to make. And when I said "[black] people", I meant most.

This is great summary and commentary of diabetes and also other diseases. Education is PART of it. In fact, my observation is that [black] people know about what to and what NOT to eat mostly, but really don't care. As my aunt recently commented, "well, the earth is polluted, meat is bad for you, tap water vs spring water vs filtered vs distilled, exaust from car, acid rain, perscription vs otc drugs vs herbs vs vitamins. We're all going to die eventually. It's just a matter of how slowly."
