nujuva....The reason why they did the ceremony in the tunnel is because who ever builded the subway tunnel never had permission to by the spirits that live on that part of the land and now the spirits are mad. So, an agreement has to be made by man to spirit. OH, and because its involving the subway tunnel they have to do it there....

If you offer an offering to the spirits it is wise not to offend them by not eating with them. Just like you don't want to offend you host at a party by not partying even if you brought the beer.
