i know we are trying i guess we cant be everywhere at once. plus so many americans are upset about the war and they want our troops to stop helping altogether because they are selfish that way. the troops want to help...sorry we cant be everywhere at once we all wish we could but we havent forgot you :)

You know what? I can't be angry with you americans. I am a christian too but I am asking why you are too stingy when it comes to the Philippines and yet very generous to nations that don't have an iota of the sense of gratitude to you.

Your total GDP may be the highest, but that's only because of your size. America's external debt exceeds 12 trillion(!) dollars at the moment, due to gross public debt, so don't talk like your economy is good, cause' it's not. Your cultural influence? What american cultural influence? McDonalds? European culture, art and literature has had a signifanctly more profound impact on the modern world, than anything american. But you do have all the guns... so, congratulations!

Why would per capita matter when talking about the economic power that a country has as a whole?? We're talking PPP and all sources, be they IMF, the CIA or WB, list the U.S. to be 1st.

Ok, first off, you didn't need to be rude in your response. And I'm not sure what you're comparing, but I'm comparing the GDP per capita (nominal) which clearly states Luxembourg to be 1st in rank (2nd according to the CIA ), while the US comes in 11th, 10th, and 12th in rank, depending on whether the info was collected by the IMF, World Bank, or the CIA.

I don't know where the hell you get your "information" but LuxembOurg has a GDP of ~32.5 billion while the U.S. has a GDP of ~$13.80 TRILLION. See, if jiijah had said that most Americans are stupid, I would have readily agreed.
