All of those dances that you talk about still come from Cuba. They all make up the Salsa that we dance today. So I don't know why I'm getting a lot of flack for stating that it comes from Cuba. Pure evidence that people are still in denial.

I understand that, but a lot of those dances you named still originated in Cuba so when you think about it, it still originated from there. You may want to read what you said again. You just said the dance originated from Cuba. Did you not?

perdona pero no. En cuba se origino el guaguanco, la guaracha, el son y muchos mas, pero la salsa fue originada en new york cuando mesclaron, a varios ritmos y el resultado fue la salsa. si tu eschuchas con mucho cuidado te daras cuenta que son ritmos bellos pero muy diferentes...viva cuba
