I had the honor of standing right next to him when I was a bouncer at a club while he played. I had to be next to him to make sure he didn't fall off the stage or so no one came up to touch him or anything. He and his band were playing a concert across the street at Shea's concert hall and they came into the club afterwards. After a drink or two they kicked the headline band that night off stage and played for about an hour! So freak'n awesome. One of my best memories when I was a bouncer....

Unfortunately, I don't think this is on any of Jeff's CDs. It's a fantastic fun version, and you can see how much fun Jeff and friends were having playing this.

I'll never forget seeming him perform in Toronto a few years ago. This is so sad! My heart goes out to his family. |
