There's no 'correct' way to play guitar. If you knew anything about guitar, you'd know that everyone is different and approaches playing guitar differently. Everyone has their own style and techniques and playing guitar. And dude...it's Staind, so they can do whatever the fuck they want.

I dont care at all if he's a guitar prodigy or not, perhaps the best guitarists happened to be the best musicians so this guy got a an amaziing voice, and thats enough for me, and as long as the songs got nice melodies and fit with the voice like Outside that's just great, in my opinion he was perfect to cover this song, he doesnt have to play perfect he's just enjoyin

ye satriani is much better, no question. maybe even i could be better then he...i am not sure but maybe. no matter i think the point is thad he doesnt play anything wrong. he just underlines his voice thads why hes got the second guitarist (much better player) on his side and so i think its ok
