why does it finish on a shot of the matterhorn when it's about the eiger? why does it ask will they make it if it shows them on the summit ridge? why does it make a big deal of him falling off when he's on second?

The Alps are such nice mountains. They did a really good job at capture the scene. And I'm pretty sure its real.
