The only character from the previous seasons that'll still be there is Effy. Guess we'll have to wait another 2 months to find out who the rest of the cast shall be.

Oh yeah of course, I can't fault the old cast at all or the storyline. Still, I'm sure they picked some more beautiful and well acted young people for the new series ;)

good point, but i still think it'll be hard to top the original cast. and to keep things from getting repetetive. these guys have already done everything wild and gone through all the sad stuff. i wonder what's left for the next line up.

Well I mean just think about it. Think about the last episode of Series 2. It was a goodbye to the whole cast, they had their lives planned out, and it was a happy ending if anything. It would be impossible to continue following the characters lives when they are so spread out wouldn't it? And think how much that would suck, there would be NO interaction between any of the characters. Skins is about teenagers in their A-Level years. Not several university students with no connections.

Yeah but they can't really use the old cast if you think about, it would kind of ruin the story.
