I am not debating your musical preferences. I was just giving you my opinion. It was not meant as a flame. Oh yeah, I hate you.<---not flaming...It's just my opinion... See what I did there? I said something inflammatory, and then I pretended like it wasn't. Now I will play the victim when you respond. I rule the internet.

You can debate my musical preferences all you like. I'm just not a fan. She reminds me of the woman who sings for Tuck Andress...just really overdone.Disagree with it if you like - I don't really care. The racism remarks were just odd and misplaced though.

It's obvious she admires Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Minnie Ripperton, ETC. She knows her stuff. What's she suppose to do? Transport back in time to the forties, so you can deem her legitimate. Jill Scott is a very very good live. If you want to bitch about current music, at least pick someone who deserves it.
kives1985 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
Jill Scott is not a pop singer. She's a soul singer. "Excuse me for voicing my opinion and in a mildly articulate, non-flaming manner that had absolutely nothing to do with racism."How is saying you hate someone not flaming? Your opinion is stupid, and wrong, and you have bad taste.
