Here's the most amazing thing about this interview: it shows that punk rock NEEDED a person like Gzowski to be shocked by it. To wait long enough to hear what Iggy would say. What's happened is that noone, the businessmen and priests aren't shocked by anything anymore. Punk rock has been too successful. It's harder than ever to 'feel neither pleasure nor pain,' because we are all trapped in ourselves: "Promises are shit. We speak the way we breathe."

What sounds to you like a big load of trashy old noise is in fact the brilliant music of a genius - myself.

this music video is soooo sick...beautifully captures mogwai's beautiful song. I know it's just video footage from which the audio was sample, but still. Iggy's the man and Mogwai does him justice. This really puts the amazing "Come On Die Young" in context.
