You may get your wish Bob. This world can't keep this game going forever. At some point reality will have it's way. That reality is simple. Nature always has the last laugh.

Another wonderful song from Dylan. I just love it !

You're stealing Bob's art when you put this song to your own political conception of what it "means". Let the song run by itself. Let people learn how to think for themselves about the subject matter. Tell people what to believe and you'll feel the boomerang of rebellion for the sake of rebelling. Humanity is a hard animal, all of it.

this is an epic poem, plus the scenes in the slide show, such as napalm being bombed and the small clip of the starved children, this should be taught to children at a very young age, In Britain, i am only being taught this now, and i am in my last year of high school, the younger people are, the more it will affect them.

lol well, a lesson well learned, but hitler from the start tryed to take germany by force lol i.e. The Sparticus uprising, plus the Weimar republic, lol but its a good thing it happened when it did, because nower days with the technology we have, the death count would have been much much much higher

Dylan tried not to write about anything specific. Few exceptions, of course, but usually he kept to vague concepts, such as war.

A lot of people say Bob Dylan can't sing. Bad opinions, in my opinion. His voice is not the best, but it suites his music greatly. And anyone who says this song sucks, has obviously not listened to what he is saying.
