The animation was ahead of its time. It's still superior to any I've seen today. Makes me glad that I grew up watching shows like this and Flash Gordon. It was said that Bob Ridgely's facial expressions were used in animation in both shows.

Yes around noon or so like the end of the great cartoon lineup that ran to like 1:00 or 1:30 on CBS along with Zorro and Lone Ranger.
