No classic Tele sound there...has the 'shape' of the sound but lacks the ring and tones that make a Tele shine above the rest.

yeah i agree, it's great! but he does phrase that 2 different ways, he pull's off the g# the first time, then the c# the second time. i'm a blues player, but the most dynamic licks i used are based of country licks like this or jazz licks. thanks for the chops forrest lee jr!

he's incredible, and it's free, and I shouldn't gripe...buthe's playing the first lick two or three different ways. I like slower passages that I can pause and then continue without rewinding....

Not exactly, but pretty close. It won't have the same kind of clucky bite, but believe me, there's still plenty of percussive bite on that good ol' Strato...

Hi. I replied to an earlier posting just now who asked the same thing. Here's what I said..He's playing a three pickup tele with a B-bender, similar to my Fender American Tele B-bender. If I can see correctly, he's selected the usual Tele bridge pickup in combination with the middle pickup (which, on mine, is a Strat style pickup), hence it's a hybrid sound of the two geetars! Hope that helps. Sorry, just saw your question today!
