There were so much bands that time. And many of them much better than nirvana. An "it" group with 2,3 listenable songs. I hate their hard/soft shift in each song. Boring and predictable. Mudhoney and Alice in Chains in their doom phase rocked rather fierce.. I loved Dinosaur Jr. too. Nirvana came after DJr. Nirvana, honestly... an overassesed group. The screaming trees swam in the middle of all. Grunge was commercial, the next big thing. The truth dwells in Rock/metal underground.
