I always loved this tune by Michel Legrand, but I especially adore this version by Dusty Springfield. I can't say that I've heard too many songs more beautiful than "Windmills of Your Mind".

I agree about the voice which is superb but this version is a bit ruined by the abuse of syrupy strings. I seldom can stand so many strings or in pop and jazz. It is mainly suitable for classical music.

Dusty is one of the most underated and unappreciated performers in music history. She has a haunting and mesmerizing aura and talent. She definitley will go down as one of the all time great talents---R.I.P.

I loved Dussty Springfield. She was a great talent. Thank goodness we have videos like this and her other recordings.
