It's already too late, the net is too restricted and codified. Everyone just forms their own little niche. You can be your own thing, but only by excluding those not like you - it's not fundamentally different.

I think you haven't exercised enough patience. Only 7% of households worldwide have access to the Internet, and the technology is still in its infancy. It might take a few more decades, but Burke's networked society will become reality.

Ok I see now, in retrospect we are and always have been living in a utopian society. So this "balanced" anarchy is not much different than our current state, and if anything more of the same rhetoric of leadership of the few, slavery of the many.I don't see how this can be considered a form of anarchy.

Utopianism is living by the false belief that men can forge Eden on Earth now through Collectivism (of any kind: socialism, communism, crony capitalism), Scientism, Progresivism, all based on Humanism, Ethical Relativism.Clever men know the rhetoric, the right words to say to gain the upper hand on the many who dream for utopia.Once they have the upper hand, it's back to the same old game of living big off the backs of the many, whom they keep in a state of in-fighting.
timlearybedead (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
That's the society we live in now, so I'm confused? This Utopian concept, are you describing our current society or balanced anarchy?Or both? Or neither?
MasterBlasterBR549 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
Balanced anarchy isn't an impossible. The world we live in is increasingly competitive those countries with the best educated, best motivated citizenry will prosper. Corruption/abuse of power is the downfall of nations.

Where in my post did I write "equality is an individual struggle to be on top"?My post describes [1]the result of childish rationalism -- utopianism[2]organized crime that results from collectivist government[3]interlocking cults operating under group dynamics as the source of power for a few
timlearybedead (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
So you're saying complete equality is an individual struggle to be on top?I think you may be the one with the diseased mind sir. Seriously think about your comment, ponder it deeply and see if it makes sense.

Ah. So, in other words, as long as you're not retarded, you will probably enjoy this. |
