Perhaps the notion that'video killed the radio star' had some truth and was still not as necessary as the beat or music then, the cold war was still on, we approached Orwells concept of '1984' Bowie had sung of, Kraftwerk brought in the techno sounds

The song is one of the best ever, so how can the video suck so hard? A few live versions i've seen were fucking lame, too. Still, a truly great song of all time.
