i dont really get scared.movies make me jump on occasion but over the last year nothing has really scared me...the new resident evil mademejump once through out the whole movie... and that was in the begining when the zombie jumped on the fence.

if doom isn't scary, what is? fear? fear i find as scary as doom. i found jericho less scary than doom. what do you consider 'scary'?

quake is not nearly as 'dark' and i've only played quake 4 so shouldn't be talking... but i liked doom better.

not satan. play doom ii. even the icon of sin wasn't satan. it was an epic portal that opened into hell, and spawned demons. a cyberdemon is not satan. there are like 3 in doom ii, lol - but yeah, doom3 is great.

saying that you were disappointed in doom3 is the equivalent of saying you were disappointed in the 5th harry potter book. no, i no longer read harry potter, lol - but there are some things that you just shouldn't "rate" lol doom3 is about the most epic game i remember for a while. both with its revolutionary graphics, and it being a sequel to games made over 6 years previously (by the same developer)
