Its firing 7.62'sxD What do you expect
eocoolj (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
would be a bit cooler if it ejected the spent cartridges out the front with a bit of force. Thats what I was expecting to see when I first saw this design.

awesome gun to help reloading
PaultheAlchemist (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
yeah i think that as well.
PaultheAlchemist (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
yeah the RFB ejects the round up and into a tube that runs parrallel to the barrel, the spent shells fall when the gun is tiped down or when there enough spent shells in the tube to push them out...i haven't fired the gun so i would know if its would be a jaming problem or not..but as it stands now..with the changeable barrle lenght i totaly want one.

That's a nasty little bullet, shame we can't use it

It is 7.62x54, not 51, and the M1 Garand main battle rifle used .30-06, a very different round in terms of its ballistics and characteristics, although they could both be loaded with similar bullets. And the Mosin Nagant kicked plenty hard, I know because mine does. This rifle should kick less due to gas pressure being siphoned off for semi automatic operation. |
