What does any of this have to do with a god or not? If there is a god, he designed our bodies to work on our own.

God does things to prove them, to let them prove he is right, that he is who he is. He knows this will happen, and he lets it happen to prove it, to prove himself. In truth, it hasn\t happened, but knowing that and knowing that it can happen, and how it happens, will not be directed by him, but by us alreadyIn fact, it seems that we have chosen certain things already before even knowing them, but without knowing them, we cannot prove we have chosenThere is no chance, there is purpose

I don't know where all this theology talk is coming from; I just want to comment on the video. The music is just hilarious! Flute, beatnik drums, the poetry that isn't quite Lewis Carroll, and the guy shouting "tRNA!" and "peptide bond!"Fun to watch, and educational, too.

That is a very interesting thing to state. It has been said that God does not plan, he purposes. In His reality nothing is left to chance but has certain success. Can we create our own destinies?

The concept, "chance" pertains to epistemology, i.e., to human knowledge; specifically, to human prediction of results of a particular action such as the flipping of a coin. The concepts of "chance," and "probability" do not apply to metaphysics, i.e., to reality; only to human cognition. There is no chance or probability in reality; only causality. Things act in accordance with their nature. All facts in reality are necessary. If it is; it had to be. |
