Truly inspirational. In my opinion however, he opened the door for John Entwistle, who (in my opinion) was the greatest (or at least most skilled) bassist of the lot.

You know its an unfair world when a great musician like James Jamerson finished up the way he did...having to pay his own way to get into Motown 25 and dying broke and almost forgotten.

After watching the the Funk Brothers, the story brought me to tears. I must have told over a hundred about the story. Standing the in the shadow's of Motown is the DVD name. If you haven't seen it, you are missing out on a very important part of music history. Keith
